The Neuroscience of Holistic Healing.
Advanced Curriculum & Areas of Study
Where ancient Eastern philosophy meets modern neurobiology.
- The Somatic Architecture: Examine how emotional trauma, subconscious patterns (Samskaras), and subtle energy manifest tangibly within the physical body and human posture.
- Subtle Body Physiology: Explore the deep biochemistry and physiology behind subtle body connections (Chakras and Koshas), using clinical assessment tools to analyze their direct impact on vitality and self-referral healing.
- The Psychology of Healing: Unpack how the mind constructs suffering. Master somatic processing—including EFT, inner child work, and a structured Recognize-Reflect-Release-Reset journaling framework—to rewire those pathways toward wholeness.
- Multisensory & Creative Therapeutics: Engage in advanced therapeutic asana, pranayama, and meditation, seamlessly integrated with the precise application of mantras, mudras, aromatherapy, sound, color, and expressive art therapy.
- Philosophical & Elemental Integration: Synthesize the profound wisdom of Vedanta, the Yoga Sutras, and the Seven Spiritual Laws of the Universe. Unplug, recalibrate, and ground these teachings through experiential nature immersion and purposeful play.

-
- Prerequisite Certification: You must hold a verified 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate from an accredited school.
- Complete the Advanced Curriculum: You must successfully graduate from all three of our specialized 300-hour yoga training modules.
- Teaching Practice Hours: You must document at least 100 hours of teaching experience as a certified instructor.

These modules can be taken in any order over a three year period. The modules are offered every year. Each module or immersion retreat has an experiential practice component and may include some or all of the following: yoga applications, philosophy, scriptural studies, Sanskrit, anatomy, physiology, sequencing, assisting/adjusting, integrative holistic health, advanced, therapeutic, and restorative postures, pranayama, meditation, mantra and outreach work. The curriculum builds on existing knowledge of asana, pranayama, meditation, and the art of living a yogic lifestyle.
The modular trainings offer each student the opportunity to learn and absorb the information at their own pace.
“The One-Yoga program has always been about quality. I would highly recommend not only the 500 hour training program but other courses and classes offered by One-Yoga. I enrolled in the 500 hour teacher training with a desire to deepen my yoga and personal journey. A trusted source for extensive training, Susan offered her expertise in yoga philosophy, advanced practice and mentoring, allowing me to master the principles of yoga teaching on and off the mat… providing me with the tools to “live my yoga.” It was truly an enriching experience. I look forward to future One-Yoga programs to enhance my professional and personal yoga practice.”
