200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Fall 2015 - Spring 2016

As a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, graduates will receive a certification that is nationally recognized.

The Transformational Process of Yoga

Our 200 hour course is a journey to your best self!   It is more than a teacher training; it is a course that guides each student through a personal journey of discovering how to live life fully. Using an ancient practice that acts as a roadmap, each student learns the practice of yoga on and off the mat.  It opens doors that were once closed; it awakens spirit; teaches, inspires and educates; and it leads us to our purpose (dharma). This course is about you and YOGA (Your Own Great Awareness); and it is awesome! One-Yoga’s teacher training is for everyone and anyone wanting to discover the power behind this transformational life changing practice.

Deepen your practice...
Immerse yourself in a 26 week course of practice, learning and awakening. Designed to educate, inspire and instill lifelong health and wellness practices, this course teaches each student how to live according to the eight-limbed path. Principles such as kindness, truthfulness, generosity, moderation, non-possessiveness, purity, contentment, self-discipline, self-study and surrender are taught as guidelines for living your yoga both on and off the mat.  Delve into the alignment, meaning and purpose of asana (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques) and dhyana (meditation). This course also explores the integration of yoga and Ayurveda, an eastern practice of holistic medicine that balances bodily systems using diet, herbs and yogic breathing. It is a personal process of self-discovery, healing and growth.
